Before you begin shopping for a firearm in NJ you must obtain the proper state permits. By law NJFG cannot allow anyone who does not have a valid NJ Firearms ID card to handle a firearm.  For more information about obtaining proper documentation visit your local police station or State Police barracks. You are limited to purchasing one gun every 30 days in New Jersey.
